High Chromium Cast Iron Rolls(HCI Rolls)
the main feature of High Chromium Cast Iron Rolls (HCI
Rolls):
There is a content of 14-20%
chromium and other high alloy elements in the work layer, the carbide in the
microstructure of the shell is M7C3 and high-strength nodular cast iron in the
core. Due to the function of large amount of chromium, during the rolls
application, a compact chromium oxide film forms on the roll surface. After
special heat treatment, such rolls have excellent wear resistance.
High Chromium Cast
Iron’s Carbide in the microstructure:
(This carbide is
a typical Chrysanthemum, which has great wear resistance.
High Chromium Cast Iron Rolls has excellent wear
resistance and mechanical property.)
