the main feature of High Speed Steel Rolls(HSS Rolls):

1.  HSS rolls material contain higher alloying element of V, Cr, Mo, Nb etc. So that, the carbide in the microstructure of the shell are MC and M2C, the carbide have high hardness and excellent wear resistance.

2. HSS rolls have great stability in high temperature, during the rolls applicated temperature, roll surface can steady in high hardness and excellent wear resistance.

6. The one of big advantage of HSS rolls in rolling bars & ribbed steel bars is the stable groove size can easily control the rolling tolerance of rolled products.

7. Because of the alloyed nodular cast iron in the core of HSS rolls, the roll neck can keep in high-strength.

8. Due to the great wear resistance and bad accident resistance, hence, the application performance of HSS rolls, not only depend on the quality of HSS rolls, but also rely on the good applying condition and maintaining & tending rolls during the working cycle.
